As a UK level three Club Coach Billy brings to Gold Swim Academy a history of successes from the swimming world. From the start of his career working with UK competitive swimming Clubs through to one of the most successful programs in the UK "Gallica"

 

Gallica were crowned National Age Group Top Squad 2 years running, with 5 gold medalists and 17 medalists overall. They also put 7 swimmers on to Great Britain squads, with 2 swimmers winning World Junior titles and 3 swimmers winning European Junior titles. Further National squad honors were gained by another 8 swimmers from the squad. Along with this, since the squad's formation in 2005, They won every Age Group and Youth Championships in the North West of England 4 years consecutively. Billy was also responsible for Tom Young who broke several British records and just failed to qualify for the Beijing Olympics by 4 100ths of a second.

 

In 2008 Billy on two occasions was selected as a team member on British swimming world class pathway in Swansea. Billy has worked with European and World junior Gold medalists, and 2012 Olympic qualifiers Dan Sliwinski and Rob Bale, 2010 World Cup Bronze medalist Ryan Bennett. And 2016 Olympic Silver medalist & 2014 Commonwealth Gold medalist and world record holder in the 100m Fly Steph Slater & Other names include Internationals such as Catherine Marcroft, Joshua Walsh and James Radcliffe.
